Laura Clark
PRESIDENT
Laura is a founding member of Strikers. After many years playing for District Rep at SADNA, and at a senior A grade level, Laura formed the original A1 Strikers team in 2002 (of which she still plays in!).
In 2020, she wanted her daughter to have the opportunity to play for the same club and has since led the club in building a remarkable community, coached her daughter to multiple premierships in the Primary grade and always chips in to help out other teams.
Ryan (Ry) Kemp
VICE PRESIDENT & COACH COORDINATOR
Ry is the Strikers’ vice-president. He made his debut for men’s netball in 2017 representing reserve and open sides before being selected to represent Australia in New Zealand in 2018. This led to the start of his coaching journey in 2017, currently coaching one of our A-grade teams and consecutively coaching the first Inters teams.
As Coach Coordinator, Ry oversees and manages 25+ coaches within the club.
Linley Bertram
SECRETARY
Linley has played netball since childhood in the SADNA competition, including for the representative SA Districts squad run by SADNA in the early 90s.
After many years away from the game, she joined the founding group of Strikers in 2020 and now has 2 daughters playing at junior level.
She is a junior and senior coach.
Linda Frick
TREASURER
Linda is our Club Treasurer, knowledgeable in all things business and money. Also one of the founding members, Linda coached Laura and Linley in their early teens and has loved her return to watch her granddaughter play as well as coaching at a junior level, leading our J1 team to victory in 2022.

Mel Ryan
REGISTRATIONS OFFICER, UMPIRE COORDINATOR & GENERAL MEMBER
Mel takes care of all registration enquiries and umpire needs. She holds a national B badge for umpiring and has enjoyed running the Strikers umpire education program since 2021, teaching and mentoring all new and existing umpires.
Mel started playing locally at five years old and currently plays in one of the A-grade teams, previously representing SA in reserve sides through Men’s and Mixed netball.
Michelle Furlan
GENERAL MEMBER & CHILD PROTECTION OFFICER
Michelle is the Child Safe Officer for Strikers and Mum to Amelia one of our players. The “Family” club ethos and feel was what drew the Furlan family to the club and they are looking forward to many years being part of the Strikers Family. Michelle grew up in Port Lincoln playing, coaching and representing Port Lincoln in numerous sports. She also held executive and committee positions at both Club and Association levels over the years until she moved to Adelaide in 2007.
Kevin Hook
GENERAL MEMBER
Kevin is Chief BBQ Officer and manages a dedicated catering and fundraising team. Kevin loves watching his daughter and her team play and his passion and care for our players and community shines through at every event. Always with a smile (and quite possibly a Guns ‘N Roses t-shirt), Kev can be found putting the goal posts up at training and helping out wherever he can.
Emma Girvan
GENERAL MEMBER
Emma is a Mum of 2 junior players (Jazz and Maddi) and part of the coaching staff at the club. She grew up playing netball in the SADNA association and has represented at school, club, association and state level over a 20+ year playing career. She’s been an umpire and coached at junior and senior levels.
